Two Simple but Powerful Sources of Glutathione

If you have been searching for sources of glutathione you have come to the right place. While I cannot give you glutathione, I can introduce you to two sources of glutathione that are simple and easy to use, no going to the doctor for IV glutathione treatments, no shots, nothing uncomfortable what so ever.

After you discover these two sources of glutathione your life may never be the same.

If you ask me, going to the doctor to get an intravenous glutathione drip is a pain. Like you, I have a busy life as it is and spending time driving to the doctor’s office, sitting in the waiting room for what seems like hours (Doctors never seem to be on time), being stuck with a needle and then sitting for another hour while the IV runs, and finally driving back home is not something I want to add to an already overflowing schedule.

With that in mind I thought that I would introduce you to two simple, non “life impact” sources of glutathione. But first I need to explain how glutathione is made.

Glutathione in its pure form cannot be absorbed into the body by eating it. Glutathione in this form is broken down by the digestive system before it can be absorbed. To naturally increase glutathione in the body you must provide your body with the building blocks or precursors to glutathione. Your body will use these building blocks to create its own supply of this powerful antioxidant.

The first of these sources of glutathione is something that you can introduce to your life without changing anything except your shopping habits. To make use of this source of glutathione all you need to do is go to the grocery store. That’s right, one of the simplest yet powerful sources of glutathione is found in food.

Natural Sources of Glutathione

Add the following items, which are great sources of glutathione, to your shopping list.

  1. Avocado
  2. Asparagus
  3. Broccoli
  4.  Garlic
  5. Spinach
  6. Tomatoes
  7. Turmeric
  8. Unprocessed Meats (full cuts of meat, not hot dogs or lunch meat)

By incorporating this short list of foods into your daily diet you are taking a big step toward increasing your glutathione level without the inconvenience of wasting time. These foods can be used to create many wonderfully tasty meals that will satisfy your appetite while increasing the glutathione in your system.

Supplemental Sources of Glutathione

The second of these simple sources of glutathione is taking a supplement. Supplements can be taken daily just like vitamins and give your body the nutrients that it needs to create glutathione naturally. Earlier I told you that your body cannot absorb pure glutathione, it needs the building blocks that allow it to create it.

When you purchase a supplement, as a source of glutathione is very important that you choose one that provides the precursors to glutathione and not the pure substance.

The two easiest sources of glutathione to work with are food and supplements. Food naturally provides the precursors to glutathione that gives your body the ability to manufacture its own supply, but when buying supplements, you must be very careful and avoid those that do not specifically say that they provide these precursors.
